The Team
Andre Allard (Oz)
Andre started in 2001 as a technician at Auto Glass in Cowes and after working up to a Grade A tech he then moved to RAC Auto Windscreens in Newport as a Supervisor. In 2010 after seeing a gap in the market for an independent windscreen business on the Isle of Wight he decided to open Islandwide Windscreens. After several years building the business up he now manages the company on a daily basis.
Dan Armstrong
In the late 90’s Dan took a Saturday job at Auto Glass in Cowes. Shortly after he was offered a full time position at RAC Auto Windscreens in Newport where he worked his way up from Technician to Supervisor. In 2007 he switched jobs with Andre and joined Auto Glass again where he trained to be an ATA Accredited technician. In 2012 he decided to join Islandwide Windscreens where he is now an ATA accredited mobile technician.
Paul Massey
Paul joined Auto Glass in Cowes straight from school as an apprentice at the age of 16 where he worked his way up from trainee, to Grade A Technician, to technical trainer, to Manager over a period of 23 years. With his vast time in the trade he is now the most experienced Auto Glazier on the Isle of Wight. One of his trainees during this time was Andre who he trained to grade A level and in early 2015 after deciding he wanted a change of scenary he joined Andre at Islandwide Windscreens and now spends his day with a mixture of fitting and helping to run the business on a daily basis.
